Two main categories of car-mounted thermoses

Table of Contents

Choosing the right thermos requires proper care and proper use to ensure its continued safety and security

The car-mounted thermos comes in two types: pure vacuum insulation (passive) and 12V/24V electric heating (plug-in cigarette lighter). It caters to various needs, including daily commutes, long-distance road trips, and truck usage.

The Difference Between Two Major Types

Regular car vacuum insulated cup (no need to power on, preferred for daily commuting) Regular car insulated accompanying cup

Principle: Double layer vacuum stainless steel, only temperature locking, cannot boil water or heat

Advantages: No need for wiring, no consumption of onboard power, no safety hazards, lightweight, and can also be used for parking

Thermal insulation capacity: 90 ℃ hot water, heated for 6-12 hours; Ice water cooling for 24 hours

Adaptation scenarios: short distance commuting, daily commuting, pre installed hot water or coffee

Car exclusive design:

Bottom diameter of 7-8cm, suitable for most car cup holders, low center of gravity without tipping over

One click pop-up cover and multi-layer silicone seal, no water leakage during bumps, and one handed opening of the cover does not distract driving attention

Anti slip silicone base, no sliding or abnormal noise during emergency braking

Material grading: Priority is given to 316 medical grade stainless steel (resistant to coffee, tea, and carbonic acid, not easily odorous), followed by 304 stainless steel; BPA food grade plastic cup lid

Car electric water heating cup (cigarette lighter, essential for long-distance or truck trips)

Principle: 12V (car)/24V (truck) cigarette lighter power supply, capable of boiling water and maintaining constant temperature insulation

Function: Digital temperature control (adjustable from 40-100 ℃), brewing tea, milk or boiling water, double-layer vacuum anti scalding

Power differentiation:

75W: Universal for all models, heated for about 20 minutes to boil

100W: Some old Japanese cars and low load models should be used with caution, as fuses are prone to burning

Advantages: Long distance self driving, truck, camping can be heated with hot water at any time, and can still maintain insulation for 6-8 hours even after power outages

Disadvantages: The engine must be powered on for use, the wiring takes up the cigarette lighter, and the volume is larger
